Every week is something new. Great for a beginner, middle of your journey speaker or expert. The course takes your speaking ability to the next level, wherever you are in your journey. Each week includes practice techniques, critique, homework and it is imperative that you come as many weeks.
It is all leading to a 5 minute "final speech," with a live, hand selected audience.
Week 1: INTRODUCTION TO SPEAKING
Everyone is different, everyone’s
story, purpose, and your why is different.
The basics of communication.
Week 2: SOCIAL MEDIA, AI AND SPEAKING
It’s a new era, and no better place to put content or to
practice than on social media.
includes going live, creating Instagram content, reels, etc. This week we embrace the power of the interwebs. And with that we've added the discussion of AI in terms of creating content and helping with your Speech. Make the AI technology your friend not your foe.
Week 3: YOUR SIGNATURE TOPIC/SPEECH
What are you going to talk about ?
Is your goal topic a business, life, story topic? You don't have to have the most riveting story to have impact and be a great speaker. Even a great sales speech needs impact.
Week 4: SIGNATURE SPEECH PRACTICE
Practice your "Signature Speech" and also you will be tasked with critiquing someone else. Being able to observe and critique others is a skill needed to be aware of your speaking.
Week 5: LEARN TO INTRODUCE YOURSELF
This is how you present yourself, how you communicate when
someone introduces you and says, you gotta meet this person, and that person is
you. This is polishing your "Elevator or Essence" speech. If you attended a free webinar this is what often discuss at the end of the workshop.
This is great for sales, regular life, speaking, engagement.
This is a valuable tool for podcasts, dinner parties, or pivotal introductions in your career.
Week 6: BE PREPARED FOR ANYTHING – PUT IT ALL TO WORK
Everyone will have 2 minutes... you might get anything. A quote, who are you, 2 minute signature speech, respond to an interview question.
Week 7: WHY ARE YOU A SPEAKER AND FINAL DAY PREPARATION
What is your why? Why are you doing this? Concepts for taking 2 minutes and creating it into a 5 minute speech. Strongly suggest taking advantage of office hours on these weeks.
Week 8 – 2 HOURS – FINAL 5 MINUTE – WITH ADDED AUDIENCE
5 minute signature speech – guests and visitors and we may run it live on my social media platforms. You will be rated and scored from Anthony and the guest judges.
